The action tipped off at 9am when the under 18 boys took the court for the first game of the day and after forty minutes of close and exciting basketball it was Taree ahead at the final siren to claim a 38 to 31 victory.
The open men and under 15 boys were next up with Gloucester getting the wins in both these clashes. 60 to 50 in the men’s game and 42 to 22 against Taree’s younger boys team.
When the under 18 boys returned to the court at 11am Taree came out with all guns blazing on both offence and defence to record a comfortable 51 to 23 victory.
The day wrapped up when the open men and under 15 boys returned to the court at noon and this time it was Taree who scraped home 37 to 35 in a highly entertaining men’s game and the Taree under 15 boys had too much firepower for their Gloucester counterparts to run out winners 52 to 18.
