The ladies frocked up and the men polished up to see the winners presented with their trophies for the year.
The hall was filled to capacity and the guests were treated to a sit down dinner which was preceded by photographs on the red carpet followed by the trophy presentation.
Joan Ridgeway and Col Hebblewhite were crowned the ladies and men’s champions for the year taking out the major singles titles.
Col has won this title ten times equaling Tom Donoghue’s record and Joan Ridgeway has been nominated for bowler of the year following her huge local success.
Joan was presented with a wheelbarrow to transport all her prizes home.
Judy Sheely and Rob Heininger took out the minor singles with club patrons and life members being in attendance to present trophies throughout the night.
Bob Charman collected the draw shot trophy which was re-introduced after a few years and Gordon Pritchard received the runner up prize.
The club extends a big thank you to all who participated in making this night a special event with the 2018 presentation booked in for December 8 to allow more time for championships to be completed.
