Deputy mayor Katheryn Smith, councillors Jan McWilliams and David Keegan will not be attending the conference due to prior commitments.
MidCoast Council felt that, as a newly appointed council, the 2017 conference was a good opportunity for the councillors to gain a broader understanding of issues facing councils across the state.
Conference delegates will be addressed by acting Premier John Barilaro, Minister for Local Government Gabrielle Upton, Roads, Maritime and Freight Minister Melinda Pavey and shadow minister for local government Peter Primrose.
Also on the program are presentations from Walkley Award winning journalist Annabel Crabb and UK Local Government Information Unit chief Dr Jonathan Carr-West.
The conference serves as the key policy-making body for LGNSW, with members submitting policy motions for debate and vote.
MidCoast Council voting delegates for the conference are Mayor David West, Cr Hutchinson, Cr Epov and Cr Pontin.
