We were raising money for our school sponsor child, David from Haiti.
The parents and staff did an amazing job at baking and providing lots of yummy treats to sell. Student were super excited to raise $304; pretty good considering we only have 13 students from Kindergarten to year six.
The students have also been learning about the country of Haiti and why they struggle with poverty so much.
They are learning about how they can make a difference and how helping one little boy in another country can make such a change in his life and to those around him.
The students were very excited to have a huge amount of traffic that day travelling along the Bucketts Way on their way to the Subsonic music festival.
