Families took time out of their busy pre-Christmas schedules to join together with friends and sing Christmas carols on Sunday, December 10.
The event was put on, in a joint effort, by several of the local churches and hosted by the Master of Ceremony (MC) Ty Soupidis.
Carols in the Park was held at the Number One Oval and showcased performances from a range of local talent including Gloucester High School singers, GHS woodwind ensemble, Gloucester Public School choir, GPS Windstars and Combined Churches choir.
Spectators were given a program with the song lyrics and encouraged to sing along.
There was even a “roaming microphone” making its way through the crowd, capturing all voices of the community.
