Taree Arts Council and the Manning Entertainment Centre will bring a musical theatre workshop to Taree in February that will be presented by one of the stars of musical theatre in Australia and London.

While the identity of the presenter is yet to be announced, it can be revealed he has played the lead in Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and other productions.
He also has a wealth of experience in all aspects of the performing arts including film, musical theatre, drama, direction and talent development.
The workshop is open to adults and older teenagers (17 plus) who are interested in theatre.
It will be held at the Manning Entertainment Centre on February 10 (1pm to 5pm) and 11 (9am to 4pm).
There is a limit of 50 participants and the cost is $50 for the two days.
Participants can expect to learn and develop performance skills in voice, singing, characterisation, analysing a song, working with a team and interpreting a song.
