GHS relieving principal, Trudi Edman said these results demonstrate the school’s commitment to ongoing excellence.
The NSW Education Authority’s Distinguished Achievers is a list of the students who scored a result in the highest band possible for one or more courses during the HSC. Band six is the highest levels with a mark between 90 and 100 required.
GHS achieved the highest band results in music, software design, hospitality, biology, legal studies and mathematics extension 2.

Chloe Harris (Software Design)
Ruby Pippen (Biology and Legal Studies)
Jasmin L’Green (Hospitality)
Gabe Hennessy O'Reilly (Mathematics Extension 2)
Several students also achieved excellent results in extension levels in english and mathematics.
Ms Edman said the school also saw 30 band five’s achievements across the board meaning student sachieved mark between 80 – 89.
Performance Bands:
- Band 6 = 90 – 100 marks
- Band 5 = 80 – 89 marks
- Band 4 = 70 -79 marks
- Band 3 = 60 – 69 marks
- Band 2 = 50 – 59 marks
