On Friday morning, December 12 around 9.15am I was involved in a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Boundary and Denison Streets in Gloucester.
I would sincerely like to thank all the general public who assisted prior to emergency services arriving.
Living in a small rural town certainly has its benefits, as further assistance was forthcoming to my wife and son.
Not enough can ever be said in recognition of our emergency service personnel, who were fantastic.
Thanks to the ambulance crew, fire and SES crew and police.
John Hunter Hospital staff were incredible, efficient and caring, doing what they had to do, in a most professional way.
The day after being released came the follow-up call from the ward sister to ensure everything was okay.
We live in a great town of caring country people.
Thank you all for the many texts, phone calls, and messages of support and offers of help.
From all the Paynter family thank you.
