The club banked 77 points while Woolgoolga, who sit in second place, earned 67 points.
Despite the overall success, it was a mixed day for the Kempsey-Crescent Head Surf Boat Club as they grabbed the one division victory.
Kempsey-Crescent Head’s Junior Clysdales were the only crew to register a victory for the club as they pulled away from the Scoundrels.
The Masters 160s push for a top three finish in the overall standings was improved as they earned second place.
Meanwhile the Open Women’s now have a mountain to climb if they’re to overcome the leading Woolgoolga side.
The Open Women’s got off to a slow start to the season but won three straight rounds.
However, Woolgoolga have pipped them the last two weeks and are now five points clear of the second placed Kempsey-Crescent Head crew.
A third place finish for the Open Men’s has resulted in them falling five points behind Tugun.
Kempsey-Crescent Head also sit in second position Whale cup.
The attention of the Surf Boat crews now turns to the NSW Surf Life Saving Country Championships held at South West Rocks on February 3 and 4 before they contest the next round of the North Coast Surf Boat Series held at Port Macquarie.
