Gloucester Library’s storytime is every Monday during school term starting at 10am running until 11am.
"The sounds of our youngest members enjoying Library time will soon be heard again," Library's Community Outreach Librarian, Debbie Horgan said.
Children's programs provide a fun way for parents and carers to enjoy books and reading with their young children. 'Wriggle, Giggle, Read' and 'Tiny Turtles' are programs for babies and toddlers which are full of stories, songs, rhymes and dancing; while at 'Storytime and Turtle Time' pre-schoolers have the opportunity to enjoy books, craft and music.
"Young children love books, stories and music, and these library programs are specially designed to support parents and carers in nurturing this love," she said.
These early learning experiences with their loved ones provide children with multi-sense learning opportunities and foster a life-long love of reading, language, music and books. They also provide parents and carers with a valuable social support network.
Put simply - they're fun for everyone!
