Gloucester Grand-Aids welcomes the national director of PEFO – the Phoebe Educational Fund for Orphans - Justine Ojambo who will be visiting Gloucester for two days later this month.

Motivated by his experiences after the loss of both parents to AIDS, Justin and his brothers founded PEFO.

The organisation has helped more than 2300 children get access to an education, by providing uniforms, school fees, books and meals.

PEFO also works with African grandmothers who are so often left with the responsibility for these young people.

Justine is a brilliant and compelling public speaker and a passionate voice on behalf of the children and grandmothers.

In a place where education is a ‘given’, and food is always on the table, Justine’s message is a reminder that not everyone in the world can take such things for granted.

Come and listen to an advocate for the vulnerable on Wednesday, February 21 from 6pm to 7pm at the Gloucester Bowling Club. Come – and be inspired!
