RSPCA are not door knocking
The community is advised that raffle tickets that are being sold via door knocking under the alias of the RSPCA are not affiliated with the organisation.
A Chatham woman notified the Taree branch of an incident where two young girls were door knocking in the area and stating they were selling raffle tickets for the RSPCA. When asked what the prizes were, the girls said they did not know.
The branch does not door knock for any raffles as tickets are only sold at stalls or credited events.
Police have been notified.
