NSW CRT State manager Tim Doolan commended the strong culture of the business.
“Gloucester Rural Supplies is a perfect example of the CRT values in action, with the store an integral part of the community, providing support for local organisations and causes whenever they can,” Mr. Doolan said.
The business supported the Charles Sturt University and Ruralco work placement initiative, run for the first time in 2017.
“Their support of the initiative really demonstrated their commitment to ensuring the future of the industry,” said Mr Doolan.
Gloucester Rural Supplies manager Troy Higgins said he and the team were extremely proud of their nomination.
“When we know how many top class businesses there are across the state, we were really pleasantly surprised to be named as a finalist,” Mr Higgins said.
As proud members of their local community, they are driven by their desire to help their customers.
“To service and also represent our region is a real honour and we constantly strive to deliver the best store, expertise and service we can to our customers,” he said.
Gloucester Rural Supplies are leaders in their region, servicing all markets to the highest standards.
“They don’t just deliver good service, they champion innovation and excellence, to deliver solutions that will enable their clients to succeed,” explained Mr Doolan.
“Gloucester Rural Supplies always contribute at CRT member meetings, offering support and advice to help their fellow members continue to improve their businesses,” he said.
Ruralco Executive general manager responsible for the CRT network Greg O’Neil praised the business for its service to the community.
“Gloucester Rural Supplies are seen as a valuable part of their region and that stems from their involvement in their community and commitment to partnering with them to meet their needs,” he said.
The NSW winner will be announced on February 10 at the National CRT Conference in Perth and will go on to represent the State for the National CRT 2017 Business of the Year Award, also announced at the conference.
