An exciting new group is meeting for the first time.

The Country Womens Association (CWA) Young Women group is for all working women, mums, teens, kids and babies.

A sub-branch of the Gloucester CWA Evening Branch, the new group plans to bring younger women into the CWA with a dedicated monthly meeting.

Each month, members will try their hand at a different skill with the help and guidance of evening branch members, whether it be sewing, knitting, baking, gardening, painting, the list goes on.

The group is not only about learning new skills, but also about friendship and a chance to catch up over lunch or tea and coffee.

If you are interested in finding out more about this new group for women, come along to the information day being held at the CWA rooms in Church Street at 12pm, Friday, February 9 or check out our Facebook page A light lunch will be provided. If you are at work on Fridays, feel free to come during your lunch break.
