Gloucester Show Committee is calling for expressions of interest for its showgirl competition ahead of the Gloucester Show on March 16 and 17 at the Gloucester Showground.
The Gloucester Showgirl competitions aims to find an ambassador for the rural community.
Every year, over 700 young women from NSW enter The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl competition through their local show society showgirl competition.
Contestants are judged on their confidence, life goals, general knowledge, presentation, speech and their knowledge of rural Australia and their community.
The competition also encourages awareness of issues faced by women in rural Australia. Entrants need to be aged between 18 to 24 years old.
For entry details email suzannalanders@gmail.com. Entries close on Wednesday, February 28.
