Do you know a senior who makes a positive impact in the community?

Why not nominate them for a 2018 NSW Seniors Festival Local Achievement Award.

The awards are a wonderful way to showcase the talents and contributions of seniors as part of the special 60th anniversary celebrations of the NSW Seniors Festival.

Member for the Upper Hunter, Michael Johnsen said seniors make a real difference to local families, recreational groups, businesses and organisations, and we want to celebrate them.

“I am sure everyone knows an older person who deserves to be recognised, so I encourage you to nominate them and show them how much they are appreciated for all they do,” he said.

The NSW Seniors Festival Local Achievement Awards are a special way in which every community can thank local seniors for their hard work, skills and generosity.

Nominations for the 2018 NSW Seniors Festival Local Achievement Awards close on March 21.

For further details on how to nominate contact Michael Johnsen’s office on 6543 1065 or email upperhunter@parliament.nsw.gov.au
