Gloucester Environment Group has organised a Clean Up Australia Day event to help tidy up town a little bit.

The club has been running the event for several years, with the exception of last year and has this year been joined be the Barrington Top Greens to help reinvigorate the event.

Anyone wanting to volunteer can meet at the skate bowl in Billabong Park on Sunday, March 4 at 7:30am for registration and to collect your bags. Organisers will let you know an area you can head to for cleaning up, or you can offer up a suggestion of an area you think needs a tidying up.

Remember to come prepared with sturdy shoes, gloves, sunscreen, a hat and plenty of water.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
