MidCoast Council completed the $90,000 project which includes a new 200 metre road pavement with a bitumen wearing surface and improvements to the drainage.
The funding for the project is derived from the Federal Government’s Roads to Recovery Program
“We’re increasing funding for local roads and bridges at the Federal level, and I am delighted to see projects that are critical to improving the overall local road network, such as these upgrades, included in council’s Roads to Recovery works program,” Dr Gillespie said.
