Dean Germon, Justin Battams, Luke Blanch, Samuel Ellis and Charli Macdonald all tried out in hockey.
It was a success for Dean and Justin as they were selected in the Manning side to play in Newcastle for a shot at regional selection.
Justin will also will trial at regional level in Australian Rules football.
He joined Dean and Luke Blanch in trialing for the basketball side.
Michael Spooner and Isoa Kisi trialed for rugby league, Charli Macdonald also tried out for netball while Hayden Schultz, Hamish Laurie and Kaitlyn Commons went for spots in the football teams.
Moving on to second round
The school’s tennis team played Gloucester on March 12 in the first round of the Primary School Sports Association (PSSA) knockout tournament.
The team consisted of girl representatives Charli Macdonald and Kaitlyn Commons and boy representatives Dean Germon and Lucas Pope.
Many of the games had had long rallies but in the end, Barrington defeated Gloucester five games to three.
They will now progress to the second round where they will take on Taree West Public School.
