As a resident and rate payer of the MidCoast Council area I would like to ask why Gloucester has not been included in annual or bi annual domestic kerbside rubbish removal?
As I understand, and have seen, other areas in the MidCoast Council Region have this facility.
It proves very successful, especially for people without transport or a means of transporting their rubbish to the local waste facility.
As an alternative for Gloucester residents two times trailer loads per annum vouchers for free drop off, or as per other councils (eg Newcastle City Council) the resident is offered two free collections from their property per annum just by contacting council and arranging for the collection.
Could council please consider amendments to include Gloucester as part of their local region for these services.
