The proceeds of the raffle assist the ABA in providing counselling and support services to mothers and babies in the region. It also helps the ABA continue to provide mother-to-mother support to mums and their babies in our community, including Breastfeeding Education Classes, resources and local group projects.
Tickets for the raffle are now on sale and will close on Mother’s Day (May 13), with prizes drawn on June 22.
Winners will be announced on www.breastfeeding.asn.au, ABA social media pages, at www.raffleresults.com.au and in The Australian newspaper on June 29, 2018.
For more information on how to help or get tickets, please contact: Anne Maggs 04 27 502 021.
The Manning/Great Lakes group meets monthly at Gloucester and we are excited to announce that meetings will be returning to Taree and Forster this year.
The local bulletin with upcoming events can be found at www.breastfeeding.asn.au or the local Australian Breastfeeding Association, Manning/Great Lakes group Facebook page.
Sometimes families might need to hire a breast pump, the Manning/Great Lakes group has the ARDO Carum and Medela Symphony hospital grade breast pumps available to hire.
Breastfeeding Education Classes are also held on a regular basis in neighbouring regions which are great classes for expecting families to attend.
