After last year’s successful inaugural Youth Theatre Workshop, Gloucester Arts and Cultural Council (GACCI) is holding its second drama-based workshop for young aspiring actors and actresses.

Students from years six to nine will work on developing the characters they will play in front of an audience at the end of the workshop.
Accomplished actress and long-time GACCI performer, Maureen Hjorth will again be running the workshops, assisting the students in character development, stagecraft and improvisation. The workshop is an opportunity for budding young actors and actress’ to become better at acting.
Rehearsals start on Tuesday, May 1 at Gloucester High School (GHS) and will continue weekly on Tuesdays from 3:30pm until 5pm. There are limited places, so if interested talk to GHS drama teacher Scott Davis or call Maureen on 0419 426 816.
The final performance is on Tuesday, July 3 in GHS hall and entry is a gold coin donation.
