Throughout the day our Aussies claimed medals in a wide range of events.
Winners of the day included Australia's gold medal mixed relay triathlon team.
Jacob Birtwhistle, Ashleigh Gentle, Matthew Hauser, and Gillian Backhouse finished the final in top place with a time of 1:17:36.
In the weightlifting, Francois Etoundi received bronze for his efforts.
Australia won four individual medals in the men’s and women’s para-triathlon finals.
Nic Beveridge and Bill Chaffey finished second and third respectively in the men’s final.
Meanwhile, in the women’s event, Emily Tapp claimed the silver, and Lauren Parker the bronze.
If what we have seen so far is anything to go by, there will be plenty more action to keep sport fans entertained throughout the games.
