The game is part of a program which includes the Andrew Johns (under 16) and Laurie Daley Cup (under 18) junior representative finals, taking place at Glen Willow Regional Sports Complex, Mudgee.
Thee will be nine Australian Jillaroo representatives in the Northern/Southern selection trial where players will be hoping to earn places in the Country Women’s side to meet City later this year. Tayla, 17, has been named in the front row for the Northern team.
“We’ll have some of the best female players in the country, including nine Jillaroos, going head-to-head for Country representative jerseys,” Country Rugby League chief executive Terry Quinn said
The trial will see the likes of Nakia Davis-Welsh, Isabelle Kelly, Kezie Apps and Ruan Sims in action.
Match day times - Glen Willow Regional Sports Complex:
- 10:30am: CRL Women’s Northern v Southern Trial.
- 12pm: Andrew Johns Cup Final - Western Rams v Illawarra South Coast
- 1:30pm: Laurie Daley Cup Final – Newcastle Knights v Riverina Bulls.
