Gloucester Arts and Cultural Council’s (GACCI) first play for 2018, ‘Murder! Mystery! – and Suspenders?’ is a comedy murder mystery.
Sir Timothy De’Ath has been found dead in his library and Inspector Butler must find the culprit.
The play stars Maureen Hjorth, Rod Burrows, Dave Windred, Carol Bennet, Dave Keen, Elizabeth Collins, Colleen Sorrenson and Jim Bird as an eclectic line-up of suspects.
This family-friendly comedy will be performed at the Gloucester Citizens Centre at 30 Hume Street, with two evening performances and a matinee. Evening performances are Friday May 4 and Saturday May 5 with doors opening at 7pm, with a Saturday matinee, doors opening at 1pm.
Tickets are $20 (non-members), $15 (GACCI members) and $10 (17 yrs and under) and are on sale at Gloucester Health Foods.
GACCI provides exposure for upcoming and existing talent in performing and visual arts. It produces two self-directed plays per year and runs other events such as youth workshops which cover stage performance and visual arts. GACCI’s also runs the Gloucester Gallery providing a space for exhibits from local and visiting artists, as well as running workshops for visuals artists and budding photographers.
