The meetings, which have become a regular event for the MidCoast Council management team since the merger, provide residents with an opportunity to find out what’s being progressed or is in the pipeline with council.
“Each presentation is tailored to ensure the content is relevant to that specific community,” Council’s acting general manager (GM), Steve Embry said.
Common areas of interest out of the meetings held so far include discussion around the appointment of a new GM, the potential office relocation and the strategy for improving the region’s transport network.
There will be a meeting at the Gloucester Senior Citizens Centre on Wednesday, May 9 at 5:30pm and at the Stroud School of Arts on Wednesday May 16 at 6pm
The schedule of dates, locations and times for remaining meetings is listed below, and online at www.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/communitymeetings
A video of one of the meetings will be uploaded on the Council website during May for those who aren’t able to attend.
