Not long to go now to get your entry forms in for the 2018 Pix from the Stix photography competition.
Gloucester Arts and Cultural Council Inc’s annual competition is open to anyone from budding photographers to professional across all age groups.
The usual categories the competition is known for still exist from the ‘Natural Environment’ and ‘Lie of the Land’ along with a few newer ones like ‘Absence of Colour’ and ‘Not your Normal Photo’ for those wanting to experiment with their shots.
Organisers are also continuing with recently introduced category ‘Postcards from Gloucester’.

Entries close on June 8 with photos, ready to be hung, to be brought to the Gloucester Gallery on the June 19 between 10am and 4pm.
The competition official opening night is on Friday, June 22 starting at 7pm when the winners will be announced.
Drinks and nibbles will be provided as you look over some of Gloucester’s wonderful talents.
The exhibition will remain in the gallery until July 15. Entry is free.
