Envirofair will be held at Taree Park this Saturday, June 9.
Now in its 27th year, Envirofair is a family day of entertainment that features innovative market stalls, displays and demonstrations of ecologically-friendly products and ideas for living with a minimal environmental footprint.
Wholesome fresh organic food will be available to purchase from local farmer’s market stalls and you can even dispose of problem waste at the recycling trailer.
A range of locally produced art and crafts and products is on offer and children are well catered for with a range of craft activities such as lantern making, listening to stories about the native fauna and tee-pee making.
This year’s event features informative and solution focused stalls to help you reduce your environmental footprint while saving money on power and garden fertiliser, see how the Manning Catchment works, get creative and get up close to a Tiny House.
Envirofair is also an opportunity to find a community environmental group to join to be involved in local greening initiatives.
Envirofair is held in Taree Park near 2BOB FM on the corner of Wynter and Macquarie Streets, Taree. Gates open from 9am to 3.30pm and entry is gold coin donation.
Take your own shopping bags or purchase a Boomerang Bag on the day.
