Teacher's cup
On Saturday members played a stableford event for trophies kindly supplied by our hard working teachers. The Teachers cup was won by Paul Blanch on a countback with 38 points. The grades went to Paul in A grade, Tad Parish in B grade and Graham Marsh in C grade. NTPs went to D Parish in A grade, R Moore in B grade and there were no other winners on the day. J Parish won the long drive and the ball comp went down to 32 on a countbback. Must have been very tough out there on Saturday as I noticed some of our more prestigious golfers managed to score very poorly, won't mention any names but you know who you are. The Derro's matchplay 1st round needs to be finished by the 7th of July so we can progress through this event, please make sure you matches are completed by this date. Next week is the glamour 2 Garry's event with the very popular Laser electrics beginners event the following weekend. Get your names in if you want participate in the next few weeks.
