This was a very hard game and even though Barrington were winning 3-0 at half time, it wasn’t a pushover.
Justin Battam scored one goal and Lucas Pope scored two. Stroud came back in the second half and scored three quick goals equalising at full time. On a count of penalty corners, Barrington was the eventual winner with a final score of 3-2.
Other players were: Dean Germon, Luke Blanch, Kaitlyn Commons, Summer Edwards, Charli Macdonald, Elana Pope, Selina Denyer, Hamish Laurie, Hugo Laurie, Samuel Ellis, Michael Spooner, and Hayden Schultz.
Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who transported and cheered us on. A big thanks to John Hughes for giving up his time to coach.
