The front man for the Melbourne based Chicago blue band, Catfish Voodoo, Julian has been touring Australia for the past eight years and is passing through Gloucester soon.
After recently touring around northern Queensland, Julian is due to bring his bluesy sound to the Fox Den on Friday July 13 from 6:30pm.
Bringing an authentic feel to some of the blues greats, his show consists of powerful slide, heavy vocals and warm harmonica.
The 27 year old’s style is blues acoustic with references of love, loss and debauchery. His album, 'Whiskey and the Devil', recorded with Paulie Bignell in Hailstone Studios, is a mix of contemporary and traditional blues showcasing a different side of his music.
Julian has played at numerous festivals including Gympie Muster, Tamworth Country, Echuca Blues, Goulburn Blues, Wangaratta Jazz and Docklands Blues.
