Gloucester Soccer Club’s Drifta’s 16’s team placed pressure on the Bulahdelah Bullets defence and their keeper right from the beginning with Kayden Schumann and Kelly Groves on the attack.

Lane Edwards placed Drifta in the lead with a brilliant goal, while Cody Howard followed soon after.

Isaac Earle Broadley made some gallant goal saves, and just moments before the half time whistle, Aiden Hawkins slotted the ball past the keeper to place Drifta in a comfortable 3-0 lead.

Lane Edwards worked tirelessly throughout the game, proving to be a handful for the opposition.

Josh Anniwell made some stellar saves in the second half, keeping a clean sheet for Drifta.

Cody Howard found the back of the net again for the Drifta team, bringing the final score to 4-0.

The next game for Drifta 16’s, who are currently placed third, come up against second place, Great Lakes Vikings on Saturday July 14 at 10:00am.
