Our meeting began at 10.00am with 62 members present and 30 apologies.
We welcomed our guest speaker Chief Inspector Christine George of the Manning Great Lakes Area Command.
Our meeting than followed a standard format of minutes of previous meeting along with a few reports, the business out of the way we were able to celebrate members birthdays and anniversary’s for July. This was followed by our Tour Directors report with upcoming trips and functions.
Our next function is Christmas in July at the Deck in Tuncurry with 77 members to attend. August sees us heading off on a Mystery Trip with 53 people booked to go.
President: Robert Sparke introduced our Guest Speaker Christine George who proceeded to entertain us with some very interesting information on her background and career in the NSW Police Force, Christine’s presentation was enthusiastically received with many questions and lots of very positive feedback at the conclusion.
The Gloucester Probus Club meets the 1st Thursday of each month, 10am at the Uniting Church Hall, Cowper St. Gloucester.
