The Bucketts Way Neighbourhood Group’s (BWNG) Community Kitchen is back in action offering a free hot meal during the cold winter evenings.
Kim Wiesner from BWNG said they are encouraging people to come for a free meal and stay for the company. The idea was kicked off with the inaugural hot soup meal served on June 16, 2016.
Kim said anyone looking to make new friends or meet up with old ones over a warm meal is welcome to come along.
The Bucketts Way Neighbourhood Group has a cafe style hangout for the community to use as a place to socialise. The area is used for the Community Kitchen as well as being opening during weekdays for people to use as a meeting place.
The free Community Kitchen warm meal will be served starting from 4:30pm until 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 88 King Street, Gloucester
If you would like to attend but need help getting there, you can contact the staff at the Bucketts Way Neighbourhood Group to arrange the transportation on 6558 2454.
