It will be the second year the club has hosted the event with their inaugural campdraft in 2017 deemed a roaring success.
“It was wonderful, really exciting,” said club secretary Jacqueline Byrnes.
More than 250 competitors will take part as well as 1000 head of cattle next weekend.
Of the 1000 head of cattle, 900 will make their way to the showgrounds by foot for an approximately 80km cattle drive from Cooplacurripa Station.
Competitors of all ages are expected for the three-day event at the showgrounds.
“Our youngest competitor is eight and our oldest is in their eighties!” Jacqueline said.
As well as looking forward to plenty of action, the club hopes to raise money for the benefit of all who use the showground.
“We’re a not for profit organisation and all the money we make we put towards upgrading the grounds,” said Jacqueline.
As well as the annual campdraft the club holds monthly training days and clinics at the showgrounds.
The canteen will be open all weekend and entry is free for spectators.
