While smaller than other years, this year seven and eight certainly makes up in determination and are already making improvements on both the bike and run sections.
Out in front on a regular basis we have had Jack Bignell and Harrison Edwards fighting it out for first place. So far, Harrison has managed to lead the pack but will have to keep improving if he is to maintain wearing the “Yellow Jersey”.
More importantly, everyone is enjoying the experience and are looking forward to next week.
A big thanks to Will Griffis-Powick for managing all the gear at the start and end of each training run and to the parents who have come along to help out.
The Gloucester Mountain Man Tri Challenge is Sunday September 9 and with the opportunity to just enter one leg individually, students are taking up the challenge with a couple of mates to have some fun.
