Barrington Coast: Council folly

I do not claim to be a marketing expert. I am just an ordinary rate paying resident of the MidCoast Council local government area.

Like many others in this area I am unable to understand why a majority of our elected council see a need to change the already recognised titles of the area in relation to advertising.

The negative reaction to Barrington Coast being chosen is considerable. Councillors must surely recognise the folly of this title. Barrington and Coast are mutually exclusive, unless of course council believes the prophets of doom predicting massive sea level rises due to “global warming”.

You have lost me MidCoast Council, and a majority of your constituents I suspect.
