The club is set to host the Original Sin INXS Show on Friday, September 28; a tribute show, paying homage to one of the country's most popular and successful bands.
“Michael Hutchence was a huge influence in my teenage years. He inspired me to sing and perform. INXS were an integral part of me wanting to become a musician. It’s such a buzz playing their music,” the tribute band’s lead vocalist Glenn said.
This highly sought after show covers songs spanning all three decades with big era classics such as Never Tear Us Apart, Don't Change A Thing, What You Need, New Sensation and Original Sin just to name a few.
The club's marketing and promotions coordinator, Sarah Fulton is excited to welcome the tribute band to Gloucester.
“Growing up, INXS were such a prominent music soundtrack for so many people,” she said. “They're one of those bands that evoke great memories with just the opening chords of a song and now we get to relive all those unforgettable songs right here in Gloucester.
“There's something special about live music and it's fantastic to be able to bring some great tribute bands to town for everyone to enjoy.”
Tickets are only $15 for members, $20 for non-members and are on sale now at the main bar or by calling the Club on 6558 1006. The show kicks off at 8pm. It’s an 18 years and above event.
