A gala opening on Friday, September 28 sees the judging panel, headed by the Director of the Maitland Regional Art Gallery, Bridget Uren, announce the prize winners.
The display at a Fostrerton farm will include indoor and outdoor sculptures, with the smaller ones in the garden and the larger ones in the paddock.
More than 40 sculptors have signed up to exhibit so far, including not only local sculptors, but prominent names such as Inge King and Newcastle’s Peter Tilley.
Visitors can buy coffee, lunches and snacks or have a picnic in the grounds to fully enjoy the 100 plus sculptures on display.
A free Shelton’s bus will take visitors to and from Dungog at regular intervals on Saturday and Sunday during the Dungog Festival. More information at www.sculptureonthefarm.com.
