The event took place undercover for the first time in the new cattle shed.
Competitors from as young a five years up to 20 years, made their way to the showground with their beef and dairy cattle ready to parade in front of the judges.
After the formal competition was over, competitors took part in a fancy dress competition where they dressed up their cattle, and even themselves for a bit of fun.

The competition is open to children aged up to 20 years, with no requirement of past experience.
They don’t even need to bring their own cattle, as many are donated by local farmers for the children to use.
The Junior Cattle Show is a sub-committee of the Gloucester AH and P Association.
