The sale drew a large crowd of people to the first combined sale in more than five years.
Cows and calves topped at $950 for a pen of first calf Santa/Hereford x cows with CAF to Wauchope Stock and Estate with most cows and calves selling between $700 and $900.
Cows topped at $1000 for a pen of prime angus cows.
Steers topped at $690 for a pen of black baldy weaned steers off a crop on account of P&J McKenzie. Steers sold to strong competition from local and regional areas.
Many of the cattle penned were showing the effects of dry seasonal conditions.
Plainer conditioned older steers sold to limited competition while younger cattle had mixed results.
Heifers made to a top of $480 for a pen of black baldy weaned heifers off the crop on account of P&J McKenzie.
