The meeting began at 10am with 63 members in attendance and 28 apologies.
We welcomed Joan Neilson as a guest. Bev Hungerford was away, so will be badged next week.
The meeting proceeded with vice president Joan Harwood at the helm.
A warm welcome was extended to our guest speaker Arthur Poynting. Our Gloucester Vet who retired after 43 years’ service to this community. He told the Gloucester Advocate working in a regional town with a practice of 70 per cent large animals like livestock and 30 per cent small animals, like domestic pets, he has been involved in a few amazing experiences. His stories were very interesting.
Twenty of our members left on their Tasmanian odyssey last Saturday. No doubt they are enjoying a fun trip.
On November 22, our group is embarking on a one day trip to Port Macquarie and Wauchope. Then on December 6, we will celebrate at our Christmas Party at the RSL auditorium. We need names of whose going, NOW.
