Thelma Bolton Pairs
The semi-finals of the Thelma Bolton Pairs took place with the following results – Colleen Atkins and Joan Ridgeway defeated Jenny Burley and Vera Whatmore, Lorraine Ratcliffe and Jill Everett defeated Bev Germon and Jan Jones, and Ruth Redman and Val Pritchard defeated Dianna Lockwood and Bev Murray.
On 31 October in the final of the Thelma Bolton Pairs, Colleen Atkins and Joan Ridgeway will play Lorraine Ratcliffe and Jill Everett, umpire will be Bev Murray.
Good luck to you all. Morning tea on 7 November will be Cheryl West and Judy Sheely.

Club Championship Mixed Fours: First round results saw some exciting finishes with 2 games going down to the wire.
Lorraine Ratcliff, Katharine Stuckings, Nev Atkins and Bruce Wilson won over Ruth Redman, June Carter and Bob Charman in a thrilling extra end (21-18) Judy Sheely, Mike Sheely, Joan Ridgeway and John Andrews had some good fortune in the final end to win over Jenny Burley, Norma Relf (Sub) Nico Duynhoven and Steve Brown (22-20) and Bev German, Jill Everett, Kevin Burley and Kevin Everett had a convincing win over George Wisemantel, Di Lockwood, John Murray and Nev Murray. One game yet to be played is Terry Davies, Pat West, Steve Howlett taking on Di Pritchard, Del Buckton, Tony Tersteeg and Luis Urby.

Men’s Bowls: Thursday: Winners were Ted Smith, Peter Bignell and Kevin Burley (21+22) and the Runners Up being Jim McIntosh, Peter Samson and Kevin Everett (20+20)
Mixed Bowls: Saturday: saw Di Pritchard and Jill Everett with bragging rights taking down Bev Murray and Luis Urby in a tussle.
