Fire crews have been called out to a new fire on the Thunderbolts Way in Gloucester today (Monday, November 5), this time its a car fire.
At the time of print, the fire was still burning out of control.
Fire crews were called out to two fires in the Gloucester region on Friday November 2.
First call out was to a bush fire on the Thunderbolts Way in Gloucester around 2.30pm that afternoon. The fire was extinguished on Saturday.
The second call out was shortly after to Bullen Bullen Road in Waukivory. According to the Fires Near Me website on Monday morning the fire has reported to burn 155 hectares and was being controlled.
A very high danger rating was issued for the Mid Coast region ahead of the weekend inline with the Bureau of Meteorology’s heatwave warning issued on October 31 covering the majority of the weekend for the Hunter District.
