Thelma Bolton pairs
Women’s Bowls: On a very hot day, the final match of the semi-finals of the Thelma Bolton Pairs was played between Joan Ridgeway and Colleen Atkins and Jill Everett and Lorraine Ratcliffe. This resulted in a win – 16-10 – to Jill’s team. The final will be played on November 7 between Val Pritchard and Ruth Redman and Jill Everett and Lorraine Ratcliffe – good luck to both teams and let’s hope it’s not such a hot day! Three games of social bowls were also played – everyone was feeling the heat, and it is still only spring! On morning tea roster for 14 November are Michelle Biggs and Di Pritchard.
