The final of the Thelma Bolton Pairs was played, which proved to be a very thrilling match with some great bowls being played and the result being in the balance until the final end. Jill Everett and Lorraine Ratcliffe defeated Val Pritchard and Ruth Redman (18-17) on the very last bowl. Congratulations girls - a great game to watch! Two very enjoyable social games were also played, in great spirit and with much hilarity. All competitions have now been completed and will resume with the singles in February. Enjoy your relaxing social games until next year. On morning tea duty on 28 November will be Jenny Burley and Di Lockwood.
