Sally Higgins continued her excellent recent form to win the day, partnered with Phil Hawkins, with a brilliant score of 51 points. She once again had the best individual score of 43 points. The runners up, with a score of 48 points, which would normally easily win the day, were Roy Crichton and Denver Webb. They were followed by John Herd and Bob Kirkup on 45 points. Nearest the pin went to Derek Bardwell and the stayers award went to Peter Wildblood from Taree.

NTPs went to P Blanch in A grade, W Murray in B grade, D Puddicombe in C grade, P Paff won the ladies and R Moore won both the long drive and 2nd shot.
The ball comp went down to 32 on a countback. Saturday night was our annual presentation night which was well attended by members, ladies and vets of the club, unfortunately none of the members champions could make the night which was very disappointing, however all those there enjoyed the night and the great meal supplied by Tamsin.
This Saturday will be a stableford event as will be the following Saturday, so get your names down to contest these events. Don't forget the
Backbar day on the 2nd of December and Xmas cheer day is coming up too.
Plenty on at the club at the moment so keep abreast of what's going on.
Yours in Golf The Shanker.
