Organisations in Gloucester and Stroud are set to receive $59,000 in funding through the NSW Government’s 2018 Community Building Partnership Program.

“This is fantastic news for Gloucester and Stroud, and this grassroots funding will directly help to create a more vibrant and inclusive local communities with positive social, environmental and/or recreational outcomes for our local area,” Member for Upper Hunter, Michael Johnsen said.
“I congratulate all our local organisations that were successful in their application and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference for community groups in the area.”
Successful projects are:
Gloucester RSL Sub Branch has received $10,000 for a memorial.
Gloucester School of Arts has received $3,000 for a shade sail for the Gloucester Gallery courtyard.
Stroud & District Country Club has received $15,000 for a solar system.
Stroud Community Lodge has received $11,000 for the refurbishment of facility floors.
Gloucester Pre-School has received $20,000 for its Early Years Learning Centre.
The Community Building Partnership program has funded some 13,800 community projects since it commenced nearly a decade ago.
