Jo Han Lim, 33, pleaded guilty to culpable driving causing the death of pharmacy assistant Lisa Di Donato, 27, as she waited to exit a shopping centre at Rowville on February 15.
Lim, who smoked ice before breakfast that day and was travelling up to 81 km/h when he slammed into her driver's side door, must serve a minimum of five years and faces deportation on release.
