The latest report from Gloucester Bowling Club

Men’s Club Championship Minor Singles Semi Finals: Semi Finals winners Mathew Higgins and Neville Atkins proved to be a cut above their rivals Tony Tersteeg and Terry Davies who did well to make the semi’s in a well contested field.

The games were entertaining with some really good ends and having the ladies ‘share’ the Green made for a better spectacle with more spectators. (Jan Jones winning over Jean Holstein in the first round of their Championship Singles)

The men’s final is set to be a ripper and it is scheduled for 9.30am Sunday 17th Feb but subject to change. You don’t want to miss this one so I suggest you confirm with the Club.

Pennant Trial: Played at Wingham as a lead up to Pennant in which is commencing in March saw Divisions 3 and 6 undefeated over 7 rinks and as usual Wingham were good company and great hosts. Our next trial is against Dungog at Gloucester on Saturday.
